Description

When forefoot pain strikes, add Metatarsal Pads to your Tread Labs insoles to support your metatarsal bones and take pressure off the balls of your feet. Backed with low-profile hook and loop, Metatarsal Pads attach to your arch supports and are easily adjustable so you can get the perfect placement. Made with open-cell polyurethane foam that is shaped for optimum comfort, Metatarsal Pad thickness is graded – small Met Pad thickness is 2mm, medium is 4mm, and large is 6mm.

  • Targeted pain relief on demand

Relieve burning pain from metatarsalgia or Morton’s neuroma with surgical precision. These pads lift the metatarsal bones to decompress nerves and redistribute pressure. They are the perfect, flexible solution for footwear where full insoles won't fit.

  • The perfect fit for every shoe

Our pads come in three sizes based on your EU shoe size: Small (35-38.5), Medium (39-43.5), and Large (44-47). While your shoe size is the primary guide, you can easily customize your comfort. Choose one size up for maximum decompression in spacious footwear, or one size down for a more subtle, low-profile lift in tight-fitting shoes.

  • Knowing when you need a different solution

The Metatarsal Pads are used when you have forefoot pain. Also, avoid use in shoes with very low instep clearance, as the necessary lift may cause the top of the foot to pinch.

How to use the Metatarsal Pads

The ideal location for a metatarsal pad is Immediately behind the center of the foot.

Quick Installation Guide:

  1. Peel back the top cover from the molded arch support of your insole. Start at the front. Do not remove the top cover completely.
  2. Attach the met pad to the arch support. Position the forward edge of the met pad 6 mm in front of the arch support. Center the pad from leeft to right. The Velcro will hold it in place.
  3. Re-attach the top cover to the arch support. The Met Pad will be sandwiched between the top cover and the arch support.
